Jim had built a Teleporter, a machine that could transport one to another place within seconds. When he first tried out and pulled the lever, he suddenly found back on a bare plateau. It was Hardangervidda and at his feet was a small marsh meadow. Jim peered behind a small wooden house and behind a mountain lake. Jim decided to go to the tree house and see if anyone was inside.
