Jim sat down to write a poem, but he was stumped. Instead, he pulled out a book of poems that Sharon had given to him last year and dusted it off. He randomely selected one.

To Sharon


Drink to me only with thine eyes
And I will pledge with mine
Or leave a kiss but in the cup
And I'll look not for wine
The thirst that from the soul doth rise
Doth ask a drink divine
But might I of Jove's Nectar sup
I would not change for thine

Jim added a small note at the end:
To the most beautiful girl in the world. Happy Birthday, Love Sharon.
Jim took the card and

  1. Mailed it right away
  2. *Took it to Sharon
  3. *Hid it while he waited for their date that evening
  4. And.....
