"I really think that you ought to stop eating," Jim persisted. "You're starting to visibly put on weight."

"Don't be ridiculous, Jim. One meal, however big, couldn't possibly have that effect. That's assuming that this is real, of course. And since I already decided that this is just a dream, [735] then who cares if I look a bit bigger while the dream lasts. I can have all the enjoyment of stuffing myself without suffering the long-term consequences." She picked up a large chocolate cake and took an enormous bite out of it, smearing her lips with chocolate cream in the process.

"You're not just getting bigger, but younger and bustier too."

Sharon chewed and swallowed her latest mouthful before replying. "Younger and bustier is good, surely?"

"Up to a point. But you only look about sixteen now. That's quite young enough. And you'll be bursting out of your teddy before long if you carry on eating."

1. "Who cares? How many times do I have to tell you that it's just a dream. You don't find cottages made out of candy in the real world."
2. That is startling enough for Sharon to stop eating.
3. They are interrupted by the return of the owner of the cottage.
