The maid twisted the dial to a random setting, not caring what happened. She shot Sharon's father and mother in quick succession, then checked the setting. "Anthropomorph? What does that mean?" Sharon's mother and father (Randolph and Fiona) hunched over as though they had been hit in the gut. They started changing into something... furry.
Randolph finished his change first, his skin growing black fur, a tail sprouting from his tailbone, and ears appearing atop his head (with the old ears shrinking into nonexistence). When he stood back up, he was a panther-man. Meanwhile, Fiona had finished a similar transformation, into a golden labrador woman. She whined softly, scared of the strange events.
