Staring at the card, then thinking of Sharon, Jim decided to save some face. Her sense of irony was intact, but her sense of dignity wasn't as forgiving. She would like the card, but only if it were balanced out with something else.
That is why Jim found himself browsing through one of the many ladies clothing stores in the mall searching for something to appease his girlfriend. Racks upon racks of clothing lay before him, and due to his somewhat shoddy sense of style, he felt a little lost.
It was not before long, however, that a helpful sales girl noticed his problem and beelined over to him. "Can I help you?" she inquired of the lost Jim.
He turned and stared at her. She was dressed in white. "Yes, of course," he began, "I'm looking for a gift for my girlfriend. An outfit, but I don't know what to get."
The girl smirked. How often had she seen situations like this before? Too many to count. Where to begin....
"Well why don't you describe her to me?"
