Jim walked over to a food vendor's stall to see the choices. They had beef, chicken, lamb, meat pies, rice, and salad greens.
The vendor walked over to Jim. "What would you like to order, sir? By the way, would you mind telling me why you're, ahhhh dressed that way?"
JIm looked puzzled and replied, "Dressed? What is wrong with the way I'm dressed?"
The vendor replied, "Not much is wrong, you have a great tan. Don't you think its unusual to wear just a tan at a carnival?"
"I hadn't thought about it. I feel quite comfortable just this way. I've felt prety good since I left that tent over there."
"That tent? Usually, people get changed there. What happened?"
"The machine started and then stopped without doing anything. Then I left. Maybe I'll try again later."
The food vendor looked at him again and asked, "So, no changes, none at all? Not even something small like improved hearing?"
"I was watching two womem talk. They were too far away to hear what they said. But I was able to hear their last few words. Something about '... the price ...'. If I wait, I'll find out what it means."
Tvendor said, "Maybe we'll all find out. Please order something, it's on the house."
Jim decides to order ...
