He pulled out a mobile phone, dialled, and then spoke to someone for a couple of minutes. When he ended the call he was all smiles.

He turned to Sharon. "Good news," he said. "I've sold you for a hundred grand. Your buyer will collect you in the morning. You can spend the night here. We have a secure bedroom." Sharon was shown into the bedroom, and the door locked behind her. It wasn't really designed for someone on all fours and with no hands, though.
