Jim had the helicopter land on Deanna's breast for that was all he could see stretching out into the horizon. In every direction, even when he was up in the helicopter, there was human skin as far as the eye could view. No trees, no cars, no people, no roads. Just flat, squishy skin that wobbled like the surface of a pond in a light breeze. There were a few puzzled birds, and an airplane flew overhead, but aside from that, the area was devoid of life.
Pretty sure that the growing breasts of Deanna was continuing, Jim wanted to try to salvage as much as he could. Yes, the United States was already ruined, but perhaps he could prevent the entire world from being consumed by the increasing Deanna. Grabbing the automatic machine gun from his helicopter, he pointed it towards the "ground" and squeezed the trigger.
The weapon erupted with noise and bullets. Each bullet sunk into the skin, doing a tiny bit of damage and sending shrapnel in the air. Red skin coughed up as Jim kept on firing and firing and firing. He heard no screams of pain, there were no sudden movements from the ground. He kept shooting until he ran out of ammunition. He leaned over the crater in front of him to inspect the damage.
