Sharon thought about it and sighed inwardly. The answer was "no", of course: she didn't want to murder a man. But what choice did she have, assuming that what she had been told by the Men in Gray was true? Whilst she was pondering this, she must have stopped paying attention to where she was for a moment, for she suddenly realised that she was inextricably tangled in one of the nets. One thing she hadn't been provided with, unfortunately, was a knife.

Not being able to think of any other plan, Sharon started thrashing about. That should alert Guevara to the fact that he had caught something substantial, and he would pull in his net.

1. Which he does.
2. But, for some reason, he doesn't. Having exerted herself so, Sharon realises that she only has at most an hour's air left.
3. *Sharon realises that she is sharing the net with something that has lots of sharp teeth.
