Sharon (using the alias "Pearl") tried a song whose lyrics were all about the need for trust and love and the brotherhood of man: "From a Distance". Perhaps the PO was naturally immune, perhaps he had had special training, perhaps he was just tone-deaf. At any rate, he didn't seem to be affected. "Ah," he said, "you are like the siren in the Greek myths, who tried to lure ships onto the rocks, yes?" Sharon feared that his words indicated that he recognised that she was using the song as a weapon.

1. Sharon is put in a cell.
2. Just as Sharon fears the worst, the man begins to weaken.
3. Sharon goes for her nailbow.
4. *She gives up singing and the PO questions her further.
