Alicia couldn't believe her eyes. It was her old rival Val, passing through the locker room to hand something to that girl in the padded bra. "You did well on your term paper analyzing Shakespeare's attitudes toward women. I gave you an A+. You can have the paper back now, so you won't get no mistreatment from those snobby girls who hate brains who bring up the class curve," Val told the girl. "Good grief! Val is teaching English Literature at Ellison High," Alicia thought. "I'll avoid her classes." As Val headed for the door, she stopped short and stared in the direction of Val. "I hope she didn't see me," Alicia groaned. Walking up to Alicia, Val took a closer look. "Can I see your I.D.?" Val asked. Alicia mentally kicked herself for bringing with her her old high school I.D. Alicia stalled, so Val reached into the skirt pocket of her school uniform and pulled out the I.D. "Well! So it really is you, Alicia Arrington," Val grinned. "I don't know how you became a teen again, but I like it. It gives me a second chance. You too. This time, I'll make you study for the English Lit exam. And you'll pass it on your own, or I'll see that you never get on the cheerleading squad." Grabbing Alicia's arm, Val added, "Let's go to the administration office. I want to make sure you are registered in school, and that you'll be in my class."
