"Jim", Sharon began, "You know, I didn't like the idea at first... maybe it's that ring talking, but this is actually pretty..."
Jim cut her off with a wave of his hand.
"Sharon I didn't really want you to be my slave, I just wanted to see if it would work or not, and that's the first thing that popped into my mind." Sharon looked mildly dissapointed. "Let's go to my place, we can talk about this there"
Sharon followed him out to the car, and home they went.
"...so you see Sharon, I think that I know how to get around the limits on this thing, and really use it to improve our lives in a very real way. Do you get it?" He saw that she did not. "Here, this will help." Jim slipped the ring on his finger and said "back to normal".
Immediately Sharon shook her head, and after looking confused for a few seconds said, "Wow, what a trip. Anyway, what were you saying? I don't think I caught all of it."
Jim explained to her again about the ring, about the limits, and about now how he knew it worked. Finally, he outlined his plan, and she agreed to try it. Putting the ring on his finger, he looked at her and said "unlimited ring user". Jim's plan was to have both of them be able to use the ring as many times as they wanted, on as many people as they wanted. Of course, this required a trust in Sharon on the part of Jim, and in Jim on the part of Sharon, a trust which Jim was worried he had already betrayed with the 'Slave' incident.
"Ok Shar, now you do the same thing to me", Jim said, handing her the ring. She slipped it on her finger and said...
