Great job. I like the idea of learning a bit more about our character's families, considering that they're all about 20-21 years old.

Thanks so much for the compliment and addition Bobbie, clearly you are Awe-to-the-some! But for his family, I never really made anything official to give people flexibility... But people seemed to be worried about messing up, which they shouldn't, so here is a quick bio of the family!
The Holt Family!
Felix (age 21) grew up with parents which divorced when he was 16, his Mother (now age 37) and his sister (age 19)left for Austin, leaving Felix alone with his father (age 42), but it was along time coming since he knocked up mom in high school. He quickly remarried to a young woman, who is now 28 year old, making her Felix's new step-mom, and they adopted a new troubled teen who is now 14.

The Burns Family!
Roy, or Randi, never really knew his dad as he died in an overseas conflict when he was 5, leaving his mother to take care of him and his older sister alone. This caused him to have the classic teenage angst and cause him to become introverted as his dad was gone, and his mother was too busy working several jobs to feed her children.

Born of two second generation Mexicans, Candy always surprises people that she is a only ch1ld to two loving and still together parents. Of course in this thread, she is just a single ch1ld of two white parents, but either way its important to stress that she is still very close to her family and what not.

Oh God, I didn't notice all the comments in this ep when I was writing mine. It seems I just wrote a bunch of stuff that contradicted Mr. Filler's original ideas/notes.
I feel like a jerk. You don't have to continue off of it if you don't want to.

Count, I wouldn't worry too much - as Mr F says, nothing is set in stone in the episodes, his comments here I take as more a suggestion ;)
And as you say Mr F, I think people can get bogged down in detail - that said, and speaking for myself too, it can get annoying and 'lift' one out of the storyline if one adds and episode and misnames etc - a human reaction :)
