"Oh this is a mistake," Josh swallowed looking down at his...make that HER hot body in the mirror nearby car, "Not what I meant by sexy."
Well, she couldn't deny it was sexy. Damn, if she were still a guy, he would totally do a girl that looked like this. But she was kind of attached to being a male and while this body felt great in a lot of ways, she had wanted to be a sexy guy, not a hot babe.
"I wish," he said, "I was a sexy man." And she concentrated really hard.
Nothing. Of course, Josh didn't realize the full limitations of the stone...yet.
"Oh great, great, this is a nightmare," She muttered ready to leave before peeking back to look at her gorgeous face, "A very sexy nightmare." Hurriedly, she made her way home. To her relief, her house key fit in and she walked into find her mother.
Beverly Pryce was in her forties, and now touched her hair up with dye to fight the graying. She looked like a mom, her body showing signs of her age and a slightly more sedentary lifestyle. A true home maker, Beverly was wearing a modest floral dress and was putting away a vacuum she had recently used.
"Oh mom, you won't believe what happened to me," She said, "It's crazy, I found this magic..."
Her mother cut her off, quite unlike the the sweet and supportive maternal figure she was used to, "Who are you? And what are you doing in my house? and why on Earth would you call me 'mom'?" Beverly had the worried look of someone who had run into a crazy person.
Josh let it sink in, Of course her mother didn't believe her. Not only was she the wrong gender now, Josh probably looked a lot sexier than her female cousins because of the way that wish had been worded, "Oh my gosh, this has to be weird for you... but at least you remember the real me. I know this sounds crazy, but... I'm Josh. I'm your son."
"Uh huh," Beverly said with a smile, but kept her distance and eyed her purse nearby, no doubt where a cell phone was located so she might call the police.
"Mom, I mean it, remember how you told me I should have done something more than a volcano for that science fair in middle school? But I didn't listen and it was a flop? Remember that zit I had on my forehead two years ago that did not go away, we called it the ugliest unicorn horn ever?" Josh spoke fast, she needed to convince her mom.
Beverly paused at the stories. Not everyone knew this stuff, and it did buy him time, "Wait, did Josh tell you that?"
"I am Josh," He said, "I just somehow wished myself female."
"Right," She laughed, "Okay, whoever you are, first, I'm very glad Josh finally has a girlfriend, one who he can trust with all this stuff even if it is to pull a prank on me. Second, you have to know I'm not going to fall for this? Wishes, really?"
She held up the stone, "It's this, it's real! It grants wishes, well, it won't turn me back to a boy, but I swear... it granted one to be sexy and I turned into this. How would I know this stuff otherwise? Okay, how about this one? Remember the superhero underwear you bought me when I was eight? Would I tell any girl I liked about that?"
Beverly considered, "Well, probably not..but his best friend might have told you..."
"This isn't about Jeff," He groaned frustrated at her mother's stubborn refusal to believe her, "I wish..."
