Sharon seemed to look conflicted a moment, "You know how I've mentioned I'm going in for surgery soon?" she asks, which Jim nodded at. "Well it's something the body needed for a while to keep healthy. But the thing is the things like anesthetics they'll use can be very toxic to my kind." Sharon continued.
Jim frowned slightly. He was having to take in a lot of information in the last few minutes, ground changing information like parasitic beings coming to this world but also his girlfriend is one. "Ok. I'm guessing you need my help with something?" he'd ask.
"Yeah. I arranged to be induced into a coma during and for the first few days of recovery so no one would question why my uninhabited body is unresponsive." Sharon explains, "I just need another body." she adds, looking at Jim, batting her eyelashes "And you said before if I needed a place to crash just ask."
The request took Jim a moment to process. "Wait. You mean you want to go into my body?" he'd ask.
Sharon would nod.
"But what about my brain and mind?" he asks, "Couldn't I find someone else for you to take over?"
Sharon thought a moment, "Well. The brain and mind thing is a manual thing. I can just not do it to you and move out when my body is on the road to recovery." she explains, "But I guess using someone else could work. I could mess up their memories so they don't remember me borrowing it while mine recovers." Sharon admits.
Jim thought, he wasn't too sure about letting a parasite into his body. But at the same time what risks would there be using someone else's body.
