I'm just generally doing these in order they are commented, so if you guy/gals/all those between like something and want to see more, you can comment and control what I type next!

Also, do you have a favorite demon from mythology?

They might show up here!

I know you've already got things planned, and I've no strong preference really, but I'm hoping for the pub. I want to see how Shaun of the Dead it turns out, and also how wrong you get things (am British, do not share Dissonant's appraisal of the dialogue, though Lhanarch is bang on for a Scottish town name).

Also, y'know, good episode and that. Always up for hot goths. This and Day Off are my favourites so far, much as I like Tulia in Hypno-Terrorist.

Yep, I figured that someone who actually lives in the isles would probably know a bit better than me, but Americans are mostly ignorant to intricacies when it comes to regional dialects. Speaking for myself, of course.

That being said, I'm sure Filler (as well as myself, out of curiosity) would love it if you could point to a piece of media or something that might be a better representation of dialogue.

Eh, it's kind of hard to know when you're inside it, as if it is good it just slips by. The aforementioned SotD isn't too bad I suppose. There's also the issue that what would probably sound natural enough spoken looks like forced affectations when written down.

It's not awful to be fair, and tbh I probably wouldn't have said anything had Filler not brought not being English up. There's something about knowing something's written by a foreigner, particularly if they're not confirmed as not American that inflames our indignity about bad British accents.

(Not that it's necessary though. Tracer (of Overwatch) is god-awful and she's voiced by a Brit.)

wait I found some Scottish: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMinLmhP4Hw

If you want something more intelligible, Doctor Who is always a good bet. For Scottish in particular, Amy Pond/Karen Gillan is probably a better example that 12/Peter Capaldi as 12 might have the accent, but as ever the Doctor's speech patterns are less typical of actual humans, even within a scripted drama.
