I'd actually been toying with a non-humorous idea along these lines, where some disease had wiped out all the alien males and the females wanted Jim for his sperm to prevent their race from dying out.
You may be right. I was trying to establish that they are, in spite of everything, still nerds. That they're also meant to be sex crazed, ditzy, and maybe not all of them originally female, but I guess that may not have come across so well.
How about this for an idea. The aliens come from a far advance social that are so Ultra-Conservative military that when it comes to sex nearly everything is taboo and monitor to the point of imprisonment to being shot like if caught kissing or just holding hands out in the public and behind closed doors, everyone must be legally spoused to each other or it would be stated for unwed ones as prostitution on the grounds of exchanging goods without money being involved.
So these strong highly educated IQ unwed females come to earth to indulged in having free-liberated sex of any kind, without being watch, arrested or shot in the public; turn themselves into wild Bimbos because they’re so naïve about knowing about non-restricting hardcore sex is all about that they only read from underground books that never really told them much or go into details of how it was done.
I got that they were sex-crazed and ditzy, but missed that some had originally been male. But they also seemed highly intelligent, which was why I queried the "bimbo" description. But it's not important, and I was probably being over-pedantic to mention it.
Reading back over it, I didn't actually write much of anything to imply that any one of the girls who spoke used to be male. And in fairness, they could have been a single gender race before the great incident.
So compared to what is actually in the episode, those bits are more like headcanon.
There's no mention of a Great Incident in the episode, either.
I can definitely gather that something happened on their home planet that has, presumably, left everyone on the planet as dimwitted nympho bimbos, and that they are the only three left with higher levels of intelligence. However, they are still just as slutty.
