Been waiting for someone to add on to the Backstage. Now that Dabbler's done so, I'll add in my two cents.--DVd.
Soon Sendula and Credensa came boiling out the residence, spears in hand. They found Sid in the lab area, calmly reading more AddVenture documentation.
"Husband!" Sendula shouted. "Why didn't you tell us it had started up again?"
"I did," Sid pointed out.
"Via Mirage," screamed Credensa, just as angry. "You should have called us first! How can we protect you if we don't know you need protecting?"
"I didn't," Sid pointed out.
"That's beside the point! You could have!"
"Okay, okay, it won't happen again. Anyway, I guess we're all on duty again, now. Kids okay?"
"Yes," said Sendula, in a sulky voice.
"Ready for action?"
"Of course," said Credensa. "Why do you ask?"
"Because we're about to get another drop-in," said Sid. "Not really a problem one, though when you see her, you might consider her a threat..."
The tell-tale shimmer of an opening portal disturbed the air. The amazons leapt forward, weapons at the ready...
