Layla watched Paula dance around the bus stop pole, eyes jumping between the muscles of the dancer's calves, the inside of her thighs and of course, her ass whenever she turned away from Layla. The music continued, in it's disjointed way, through the headphones. For her part, Layla seemed to be loving it. The sexy smile hadn't left her face since the dance started.
But as much as Layla was enjoying this...no, it wasn't right. People didn't just start dancing like this for no reason! And it certainly wasn't right to be dancing like this! (although that second thought did arrive more slowly than it would usually have done for her...). No. Something had gone wrong. She was clearly imagining things. Maybe she hadn't had enough sleep last night? Yeah, that sounded vaguely plausible to someone who didn't believe in her own magical abilities like her.
Layla screwed up her eyes, torn between whether she wanted the world to return to normal when she opened them or if she wanted this to continue. Her magic responded in kind. Seeing only the blackness behind her eyelids, she felt a sudden jolt, like the ones she'd be experiencing all day, but stronger. It almost felt like it was pulling back into her? Her entire body felt tingly, and she shuddered slightly.
A hand came down on her shoulder, jarring her out of her musings. She opened her eyes, and stared straight into the worried face of Paula. The other woman had her headphones back around her own neck (although Layla couldn't tell you exactly when the music had stopped), and, when Layla looked down, her ultra skin tight leggings had returned to just being normal sweat pants. Everything was back to normal. She must have just been imagining things.
But there was one thing that had changed. One thing Layla couldn't see.
From Paula's perspective, she had found herself slipping into a bizarre but extremely pleasant daydream (the excuse the magic had used to explain her memories of her new dance routine), where she had basically done a stripper dance for a stranger she'd never met before.
The human mind is fantastic at rationalisation, and Paula's was no exception. Without any conscious effort from her she had come to a very simple conclusion. She must find this girl incredibly attractive, if the first response she had to her was to imagine launching into pole dancing to try and seduce her. The fact that, until this moment, she had thought herself to be firmly straight, was of not particular consequence, particularly not with Layla's magic still buzzing in her brain.
The question is, how is Paula going to act out this new attraction?
