Sheryll did some quick math: Level 4 was too expensive, Level 2 was only a little more expensive than Level 1. She decided on Level 2.
Lynn brought Sheryll back into the "spa" portion of the shop in the mall. There was a large lounge chair like you might see in a dentist office. Lynn directed Sheryll to lay down in it.
A large round lamp was hanging from the ceiling. Lynn was able to position it so Sheryll was looking right up at it.
"Ready?" asked Lynn, who was wearing a bright grin.
"Ready" said Sheryll.
Lynn pressed a button, the lamp lit up with a blue light. And then...
Sheryll woke up in the lounge chair. She had no idea how much time had passed. She lifted her head.
"Hello!" said Lynn, who was still grinning. "How do you feel?"
Sheryll thought about it. She felt very comfortable.
"Good" she said. She thought there might be some more words to describe how she felt. But she couldn't think of any right now. "I feel good." she said, which would have to do.
"Good!" said Lynn. "You might be a little dizzy. Do you feel ready to sit up?"
"OK" said Sheryll. She slowly sat up. She felt that something might have been a little... off, maybe? Her clothes felt a little weird.
She looked down. Something was very different. She knew what she wanted to ask, but she didn't want to sound stupid. But finally she just asked it.
"Did my boobs get bigger?"
"Well..." said Lynn. "Like I said, that's one of the side effect of the treatment. At this level, it's more about shape. Your breasts are fuller, which makes them seem a lot bigger. Does your bra still fit?"
"Barely!" said Sheryll, which she thought was funny. Since High School she always liked her breasts, and they certainly did get a lot of attention. She'd needed to use push up bras to get the same effect lately.
Now, she was at least a cup size bigger. The bra had a lot more to push up.
"Now," said Lynn, "remember when you came in and I asked how you were doing?"
"Yes" said Sheryll. She felt like she needed to concentrate for this.
"Do you remember what you said? That you were stressed because you had a lot on your mind?"
"I do remember it. I was..." Sheryll wondered why she couldn't think of the right words. "I was stressed."
"Do you feel that way now?" asked Lynn.
Sheryll thought about it. then she thought some more. Then, slowly, a smile crossed her face.
