"Not unless you tell me what it is," Love said. "And even then I probably won't stay. In case you haven't noticed, Britney, you are acting really, really strangely. And the more time I spend around you, the stranger I find myself acting. I'm calling my mother and I suggest you do the same. I saw her on the news the other day and she said she is worried sick about you." Britney did not like these words that were being said. To Love's surprise and alarm, she placed her hands over her ears and began to walk away.

"Listen to me, Britney," Love said. "You can't just turn your back on your problems like this."

Britney stopped walking and began to cry. "I don't know what's happening to me," she sobbed.

1. "It's okay Ms. Hewitt," said Carter as he appeared as if from nowhere. "I can take charge of things from here."
