Caroline awkwardly adjusted her frilly headband, leaning against her cart, as she waited obediently for Jim’s next question. Unlike the portly Ashley before her, Caroline was by all means fairly average for a Wal Mart shopper, other than her new maid uniform. It was a spur of the moment to get Caroline involved in Jim’s “survey”, and now he had to figure where to go with this maid idea next.

Maid . . . maid . . . french maid? That’s kind of low hanging. Maybe if I could tie this in with the twins somehow . . . they’d probably hire a maid, right?

“So . . . you got another question for me?” Caroline asked, clearly impatient to move on with her shopping.

Snapping back to reality, Jim looked back at the twins. Maybe he was over complicating this? He can take this one step at a time, just like how he changed the twins . . .

That’s it!

“Sorry about that, Carol” Jim began.

“It’s Caroline” she snapped.

“Right, Caroline. So, Caroline, could you describe a bit of your family history?”

Caroline blinked, thinking it over for a moment.

“Well . . . my dad worked at the local steel mill ‘till he retired. My mom stayed at home raising me and my siblings. My drunkard of an Uncle crashed . . .” Caroline began to ramble.

“What? No, I didn’t mean like that,” Jim sighed, “you’re ruining it . . .”

“I’m ruining what?”

“Nevermind. Just forget the last question I asked you, got it?” Jim said.

Caroline nodded, her eyes turning glossy for a fraction of a second, before her previous grumpy demeanor returned.

“Ok, let me cut straight to the chase, were you born and raised in Japan?” Jim asked.

“Umm, yea, how’d you know?” Caroline blinked slowly in confusion as the changes began.

Her plain brown locks darkened at the roots, the phenomenon flowing down her hair like ink, leaving her with silky black hair. Caroline blinked eyes as her eyes were tweaked into a familiar almond shape, cloudy blue eyes turned into deep pools of chocolate. Her nose and cheeks bones shifted as her skin gained a more porcelain pallor. Moments later the now middle aged Asian woman came back to her senses. Jim noted how changes left her face looking tighter and her hair a healthy sheen, lifting a few years off of her face.

“What can I say, Caroline, I have a gift for this kind of thing” Jim said with a grin.

“Who’s Caroline, I’m Ria” the middle aged maid glared at him.

Well that’s better, she kinda looks like Ashe and Leigh’s sister now, or maybe their mother if she was a bit older . . .

“Can I go now? I don’t have all day” Ria fumed.

. . . but that mood of hers is kinda bratty too . . . decisions, decisions . . .

  1. *Jim comments on her resemblance to the twins, their mother is Japanese too after all, adding a couple of years to Ria
  2. Same as 1, but Jim’s comments shave a few years off the twins instead
  3. Jim comments on her attitude and how she should act her age
  4. Jim asks questions about Ria’s work, who does she work for?
  5. Jim comments on her figure, who wants to hire a boring old maid?
  6. Something Else
