You don't understand what's going on here, but you know that you want to get out of this place as soon as possible. And that will also get you away from the voice. You have a feeling that, were its owner to reveal itself to you, you would find the creature at best disgusting and at worst horrifying.
"Show me the way out of here," you say.
"Follow light," the voice replies. A glowing line appears in the crystalline floor, leading into one of the tunnels. You follow the line, which leads you to the end of the passage, some hundred yards away. The cloud of purple-black floating outside prevents you from seeing what lies outside the clear crystalline walls. Nor is it obvious how you can get< outside, for the walls seem to be unbroken. Where is the doorway that the voice spoke of?
But then the cloud seems somehow to begin to permeate through the walls, and the corridor fills with it until it is impossible to see your hand in front of your face. The cloud then suddenly vanishes, and you find that you are no longer in the tunnel. Instead you are:
