Later that week, the Wright family (Mirandas senior and junior, Amanda, Kitty, Gaston jr., and Shenna) joined the Khan family for dinner. (For some reason, Miranda senior did not feel it was necessary to mention the visit to Gaston senior.) As instructed, they brought their bathing suits and appetites to a poolside barbecue.
The Wrights were greeted at the gate by Tanya, who seemed to be the volunteer lookout for the Khan family. Kitty was surprised (but delighted) to see Tanya without her usual makeup, wig, and contact lenses, and with her tail hanging out over the top of her black-and-white striped thong bikini. Although Miranda jr. and Amanda did not recognise their colleague Tanya at first, they quickly picked up her identity from their telepathic link to Kitty, and enthusiastically greeted her. Gaston jr. and Shenna seemed to be fascinated with Tanya's tail (or perhaps the anatomy close to it in Gaston's case), and followed closely behind her as she lead the Wrights around to the pool.
Tanya introduced the Wrights to her father Shere Khan, (who was reclining on a large, sturdy lawn chair by the pool), her brother Sam, who was supervising the lamb that was barbecuing on the patio, and her brother Sid, who had been swimming laps in the pool. Sam was a handsome dark-haired human with a slightly feline look to his eyes and disturbingly large teeth when he smiled at the arriving family. Sid (who Kitty and her sisters knew from work) had a lean, muscular human frame with orange-and-black tiger's fur, ears, and a tail hanging over the back of his skimpy swim trunks. Amanda lost no time in stripping down to her thong bikini and jumping into the pool, where she proceeded to try to pull Sid's swimsuit down. Kitty was surprised by the wave of lust she felt radiated from her sister. Miranda felt it too, and instead of joining her sister in the pool, stripped down to her own thong bikini and started flirting with Shere Khan. (This annoyed Miranda senior, who had just sat down next to Khan and had been planning to ask him some private questions.)
The next arrival on the scene was Tanya's sister Toni, who brought a full punch bowl out of the kitchen on to the patio. She resembled her brother Sid, with the exception that she only had hair on her head and in bikini-shaped patches of thick fur covering the tips of her D-cup breasts and her groin. While serving the punch around, she managed to distract Gaston and Shenna from Tanya's tail to her own, and lead them off to chase her around the lawn. Tanya seized this opportunity to grab Kitty and pull her inside the house.
Once inside the house, (and its telepathic damper field), Tanya drew Kitty into a close embrace and kissed her passionately. They were interrupted by a deep voice, which said:
"Is this the new girlfriend, Tanya? You two look good together."
Kitty and Tanya jumped in surprise, but Tanya quickly recovered and turned to face a seven foot tall white-and-black striped tiger-man who had his arm around the shoulders of a five foot tall dark-haired human woman.
"This is my brother Singh and my sister Titania," Tanya said. "Or Titty for short" she whispered in Kitty's ear.
The source of "Titty"s nickname seemed to be her G-cup breasts, which were inadequately hidden by the loose top she wore over a pair of Bermuda shorts. (The top also failed to conceal that she had a surprisingly large belly underneath her huge breasts.)
The introductions concluded, Kitty helped Tanya and her siblings carry out the rest of the dinner (a salad, and a curried potato casserole) to the patio, where Sid and Sam were cutting apart the lamb and dipping the pieces in a spicy barbecue sauce.
After both families had eaten their fill of the excellent food, Shere Khan (who did not seem to be a vegetable fan, and had devoured almost a quarter of the lamb on his own) turned to Miranda senior and said:
"Well, Miranda ..."
