Jasmine despaired at first, but then figured that her best course of action was to go back to the palace and explain the situation to Aladdin. He would understand. After all, they had both seen enough weird transformations, both by Genie and by their many magical friends and enemies. This would be nothing new to Aladdin.
Genie, however, realized the danger which Jasmine was letting herself in for. He grabbed Apu, leaped onto Carpet, and chased after Jasmine.
"Jas!" Genie yelled, "You can't go there like this! You'll never get past the guards!"
Jasmine ignored Genie. She continued to plod towards the palace. The townspeople of Agrabah were running scared. They ran to the palace and demanded that the palace guards protect them.
"All right, what's all this about?" bellowed Rasoul, Captain of the guards, "What are you all so scared--" Rasoul stopped as he saw the nine-foot ogre which was stomping its way toward the palace.
Rasoul looked around, and then finally gave the order, "Men, prepare the catapult!"
