Jim and Sharon arrived in the city again without incident. Well, Jim bumped his breasts against a counter in a gas station and knocked something over, but other than that, nothing.
They decided to look up someone to translate Chaldean. They found that the nearest university had a language expert who was willing to help them.
"Hmmm... yes... interesting..." droned the professor.
"What does it say?" asked Jim.
Sharon looked around the office, a skeleton hanging on one wall, scattered papers on the desk, Chaldean articles in a line across one shelf.
"Well, it appears to be a rather amusing folk story, or myth- they mention a ring, and how it was forged, along with a gold ring...", the professor mused.
"Is there anything in there about how the ring works?", Sharon asked.
"It mentions imagining the change... a simple method, not unlike other myths, where you had to turn the ring around your finger... that's it really. If you let me keep it, I will type up the translation and send it to you. What do you say?"
Sharon and Jim looked at each other.
