The five girls and Jim silently followed Justine to her office. The office itself was a massive room with deep red carpeting, the east and south walls both made up of sheer glass. A long oak desk, quite obviously Justine's, sat near the south wall, accompanied by a large red reclining chair.
"Please close the door behind you," Justine noted. As Mary did as requested, Justine sat down on her desk and picked up a small group of papers. "Now then, Jim? You're the one who purchased one magical Sailor Moon costume from Spells 'R' Us branch 666, am I correct?"
"Yeah," Jim admitted. "How'd you know? And why are you asking me that?"
"We keep track of all purchases, just in case absolute chaos happens," Justine curtly replied. "And it may have happened here. As for why, well, we'll need someone to sic the lawyers on if worse comes to worse." Setting down the papers, she quickly noted, "Speaking of, I need to see just how much chaos has been unleashed."
Justine quickly snapped her fingers. Within a few seconds, the clothes that each girl wore shifted and changed into the costumes which had altered them in the first place.
"Whoa," Mary noted as she looked over her Chun Li costume. "How in blazes...?"
"The same way you were altered to resemble the characters you now depict, and the same way your friend's costume was permanently changed," Justine explained. "Magic."
"But how...?" Sharon asked, before noticing that Jim had passed out from the strange and somewhat erotic display. With a sigh, she noted, "Please, Miss Bailey, explain while I get him up."
"Certainly," Justine continued. "I was in college, taking part on an archaeological dig on an island a few miles off the coast of Venezuela. I became separated from my group, and managed to locate a large pool of a golden liquid. I foolishly chose to taste it."
"And that's how you gained the magic that did all this?" Lisa asked, feeling a slight chill from the air conditioning. "But why the costumes?"
"Well, what else could I do, perform in Las Vegas?" Justine asked. "Besides, I felt that these costumes and the wands could, if used properly, help to improve the world overall. Think of the medical benefits. Not to mention the fun at parties."
"And what about what happened to us?" Jane asked. "My costume practically possessed me."
"Well, you did put on the costume incorrectly," Justine noted. "Also, that's why I had the wand sent. Between the instructions included with the wand and curiosity, I hoped that one of you would manage to reverse what had already occurred. Unfortunately, you ended up causing a mess in the process."
"Yeah, about that," Lisa noted nervously. "I'm..."
"You weren't yourself," Justine noted. "Nothing to worry over, however. In the long run, you did restore yourselves to your proper minds, and the young woman you turned into a catgirl has received proper treatment."
"Then...why bring us here?" Andrea asked at last.
"To make sure something terrible hasn't happened," Justine replied urgently. "I need to know..."
