Coming up to the front gate of the Tendo home made it load that Ranma had easier on him. All during his trip with his seven slaves, he'd been afraid that something would happen. This was not a situation that he'd thought would go easy for him, especially since he was well aware of the problems that he'd already had with having several of them as fiancees. The idea that he would get inside the house without anyone bothering him just seemed to be silly. Someone would have to come bother him, whether it be something like Kuno declaring his love for Akane and his hate for Ranma, the old freak coming out to grope the girls, or simply someone who would want to poke his nose into where it was not wanted.
Yet, he had not been bothered by anyone, and the girls hadn't shown any desire to complain about anything. In fact, he could feel them watching him, and when he'd turn to look, they'd... pose. From Nabiki's startings of a sensual smile, to Shampoo shifting nearly enough to jiggle her breasts, to that direct stare that the sole woman gave him, it was clear that they were coming back to themselves, and didn't seem to want to hit him at all.
So, he felt almost safe when he opened the gate and led them onto the property.
That was when his father showed up to lean right at his face. "Boy! Where have you been?!"
"GAH!" Ranma blurted, blinking as he looked at how the two fathers were crowding him. "What's goin' on?"
"We were left all alone for so long."
"So? Ya can handle it."
"Sure, but there are things that have to be done here!"
"Then why didn't ya do them?"
"That's not the point, son," Soun told him.
"Huh?"
"We have been waiting here alone when there should have been someone here to greet us. We came back from our errand, and found everyone gone!"
"And that is something that you should realize isn't right," Genma grumbled.
"But now that you're here, perhaps you can explain what exactly is going on."
"Because you have certain responsibilities, boy!"
"I...." Ranma began.
"We're listening.... But you'd better make this good!"
"Ugh. Would someone make 'em stop...."
"Stupid boy, I.... HEY!"
"Put me down!" Soun declared.
'Diana' didn't pay attention to either of them as she had merely done as her Master had asked, by putting down what she was carrying, and holding the two fathers up in the air by the backs of their gis.
"That'll work," Ranma commented blankly, before shaking his head free of the surprise of having such a thing happen. "What's goin' on with the two of ya, anyway?"
The two fathers looked at each other, and then at Ranma, before explaining that:
