What Kodachi wanted to do was to be there bright and early to present herself to her Master. Then she could make it clear that she was ready to do whatever he would need of her. She didn't want him to have any reason to doubt that she wasn't totally willing to do what he wanted as soon as he wanted it. Plus, it would give her the opportunity to greet him in the sort of ways that only a female slave could, and was certain that if such was the case, then she would be able to please him well.
Of course, it would only do to have all his slaves be there to present themselves for his service as soon as he awakened. They belonged to him, and the truth of it was that they were there to act in his service. Being dutiful was as ingrained into her as was her desire for a sexual encounter with him.
However, she went in search of clothing to wear that would be appropriate for her new station and situation instead.
The thing was that she didn't want to be too forward, as that would usurp his command, and there was no way that she was going to ignore the fact that he would be the one in charge. Her body was his to command, so its desires would have to be controlled and not allowed to push her into troublesome actions. After all, she didn't want to let herself get drawn into a path that would cause her to be brazen and imperious, both of which were not exactly welcome slave behaviors.
Besides, Master was likely to be too busy to get into a morning wake up call. Making sure that he was served well was paramount, and what little that she could do on her own would be helpful in that regard. All that she would have to do would be to find something that would be acceptable for a slave such as herself to wear, but wouldn't be too firm a choice should he desire her to wear something else.
A simple outfit, like a skirt and blouse, or a blouse and shorts should accomplish that goal, and she went in search of something like that, while:
