Still lying on top on Robin in the storeroom. Baby Jim tried to turn his head to look at what had happened to his perfect, manly body. He found that his muscles seemed confused and wouldn't move in the directions he indicated. Even his eyes were having trouble focusing on anything in particular.
Robin lay naked on her back, snoozing, with her arms wrapped around her baby. Jim was also naked, but felt very comforted by Robin's heartbeat in his ear.
"At least I'm with her, she'll keep me close and safe" he thought, and instantly wondered why the thought made him feel better. Jim could feel the mass of milk that he had drunk earlier sitting on his stomach, but it wasn't so comfortable now. He must have swallowed a lot of air with the milk, and it was cramping his stomach. He tried to get out a burp, but his stomach was as unresponsive as his head.
Claustrophobia began to creep over Jim as he realized, that even in this massive room, he was trapped by his own tiny body. The fear kept building as he struggled to get anything to move right. His arms flailed and his legs kicked wildly into the air. Even his fist clenched and released uncontrollably. His face turned red with the exertion of the attempt to burp, and tears of frustration began to build in his eyes. Whimpers quickly turned to whines, and Robin stirred from the blankets to look at Jim.
"What's wrong, sweet Jimmy? Is your tummy upset?" Robin cooed, oblivious to Jim's frustration. She sat up and held Jim in her arms, with his face over her shoulder. She rooted through her backpack with one hand as the other arm held Jim to her shoulder.
"I know I had some diapers and a onesie in here somewhere. Maybe I left them at home. We'll just have to pick up some more on the way to...
