Leia tried not to listen to the voice. She wasn't a twilek. She would never dance for Jabba. Leia thought of herself and her past. She focused on her memories, reminding herself again and again who she was. Unknown to her, the force within her was strengthening her mind, keeping her will from slipping.
Leia had no perception of time, but BE-4U finally took off the helmet and visor. She sighed. She was Princess Leia, daughter of Bail Organa. The droid's mind control had failed.
" Tell me, slave," said BE-4U, " Would you like to dance for Jabba now?"
