Jim transformed, into a woman wearing a bridal gown (the model in the magazine was naked, so he didn't get clothes from the transformation, but he did get red nails, and nail polish is like clothes). Then he felt pangs of nausea. When he felt his body he realized his stomach was too big. Pregnancy wasn't hard to guess--he must be almost six months pregnant--and he put his hand on it and tried to listen for a heartbeat, though without the right equipment he didn't have much of a chance to hear one.
He went into Rick's room and asked him, "hey, Rick, how many years ago were your parents married, and how old were you?"
Rick, of course, looked around and freaked. "M-- mom?" he said.
"I'm not your Mom!" yelled Jim. "I'm Jim. I used a magic item to turn into your Mom from the wedding picture."
"What? What?"
"Good grief, it's easy to demonstrate." He turned around, tried to figure out how to get rid of the bridal gown and managed to pull it away enough to check his pussy. He felt inside for the ring, just like before, and pried it out. There was no change.
"Uhh," he said. "That didn't work. Let me try again. My name's Jim. Lemme tell you something only we know. My highest number of kills in Quake is...."
Soon he managed to convince Rick. After all, it was either a magic ring, or he really was a young Rick's mother, and that was equally hard to believe.
"That's ridiculous," said Rick. "But to answer your question... Mom and Dad were married around 21 years ago, and I was born a few months after the wedding. Mom would have been pregnant with me at the wedding... but you know they'd be very careful in taking pictures that don't let it show.
"I see," said Jim. "But now what do I do? Am I really pregnant with another you? And I can't change back... it probably doesn't let you change if you're pregnant..."
