He didn't even bother with a twitching brow this time. Nor did he sigh, or give some sort of show of frustration. Instead, he merely looked over and gave a steady look towards the figure that he'd just seen.
"Ya know, I'm beginnin' ta think that I'm gonna have one thing ta look forward to," Ranma murmured.
"And that is?" his slavegirl asked.
"Getting new Akanes and finding out what they have ta give me."
"You think that's going to keep on happening?"
Ranma glanced over at his slave. "Could be. Hopefully I won't be at it for the rest of my life."
"True. But just imagine it, getting one of us each day or something."
"Imagine me with an army of Akanes. That'd be... strange."
Slave Akane attempted to come up with such a mental image and found herself blinking with surprise. "I'd... understand why that would be the case."
"Still, I've got another Akane ta see."
"But, of course."
