SD: Velma comes to in a lab suitable for a mad scientist

Velma came to her senses. She was on her back, firmly but not too uncomfortably strapped to something more like an operating table than a bed, tilted up a few degrees so that she had a pretty good view of a room, or part of one, rather like a hospital operating room but with a bewildering array of gadgets that immediately brought to her mind the laboratory of the stereotypical mad scientist. She realized that she was naked but covered by a soft white blanket, warm but not uncomfortably so. Eyeglasses corrected her vision, but they weren't her eyeglasses: the lenses were the wrong shape and the frames were less chunky.

"Oh, good, Velma, you're awake," said a polite voice, and someone came into view. It was:

1. *Herself, apparently, dressed in the clothes she'd been wearing, with her body language and her expression, and as far as she could tell with her voice!
2. Daphne, apparently, but the expression on the Daphne face was wrong, and the girl hadn't used her voice the way Daphne usually did.
3. Fred, apparently, but expression, body language, and use of voice were all wrong.
4. A very beautiful woman closely resembling a famous actress, wearing a lab coat and acting as if she just might be a mad scientist.
5. A steerotypical mad-scientist type of man, whatever that brings to mind.
6. Someone else...
