Grace and Dale wandered down to the Crew quarters in the Base. As they did, they took the oppertunity to catch up.
"So how you doin little Bro?" Asked Grace
"Not so little now" Said Dale "In fact this body is 500 Years old - and still damn Sexy"
"So you're not too freaked out by being a woman?"
"Getting use to it, Balancing is the first thing you notice - Got quite a bit of weight upfront - Although I notice you're looking a bit heavier up front as well"
"Yeah, I'm quite enjoying being stacked - Though it may hinder my Surgical career. can't get in quite as close - you know."
"yeah that's true. So what happened to you?"
"I could ask you the same, but after your accident I recieved a phonecall from Dr Wu asking me to attend his facility. When I arrived I was told he required a Surgeon and that if I refused you would be trapped like that forever - He also told me that you were being kept sedated to protect against 'Mental Trauma.' When I finally rebelled he used me for experimentation purposes, so what was your Story?"
"Not that I like telling my Big Sis, but after inventing the Art2Reality portal I got a bit horny and decided to try it out for 'Sex tourism' purposes - First couple of times it worked fine I visited a few Playboy centerfolds and had some very fine Lovin' but after making some adjustments I accidentally widened the angular confinement of the transfer beam. A wide transfer beam meant that it could only transfer large particles and not quantum states so my mind was left behind. The computer realised something had been left behind and transfered another body out to store it in as mine was still being integrated into the pocket universe containing the scene contents. For some reason it chose Simonetta Cattaneo Vespucci, the model Botticelli used for Venus. I passed out as my mind integrated into Simonetta's synapses and Dr Wu obviously decided to keep me there."
"So where's the Portal now?"
"Guess it's buried under Wu's Lab now"
"Can you make another one?"
"It'll take years without my research, besides I'm quite enjoying the change of appearance - and did you see the way Brad looked at me?"
"You can't be serious?"
"Deadly, anyway what were you and McBain up to whilst Brad and I saved the world?"
"Nothing" said Grace and turned a Bright Shade of Red. "Here's the Crew quarters anyway, lets look around for some clothes."
