"You've lost something like fifteen years out of your life," Jim reminded Suzie.

"Yeah, I s'pose so. I hadn't thought of that. If I could jus' make myself your age, it'd be perfect... Wait a minute. Who was that girl who wanted to date you? The creepy one, who said she'd break us up somehow?"

"Yeah, I remember her. She went in for the goth look, black lipstick and all stuff. Called herself Laetitia, I seem to recall, though I don't think that could have been her real name. She had the motive, and I wouldn't be surprised if she dabbled in the occult. If this is her doing, then her plot has failed. I'd still like to get even with her, though."

"It could be dangerous. If she really can do magic, then if she finds out that we're after her, who knows what she might do."

1. They decide that they will try to track her down. She doesn't go to Jim's school, but he recalls somewhere where she used to hang out.
2. They decide that taking any action would be too risky.
3. *Perhaps Laetitia is magically listening in on their conversation, as at that point things change once more.
