Mandragon "Mandi" Maloof was intrigued by the sudden disappearance of her older (by nearly one year) sister Mistral, better known as Misti, so she was pleased, as were Mr. and Mrs. Maloof, to soon hear from Misti. Mandi was intrigued by Misti's desciption of life with Cadre Modeling, but it still struck her as quite strange, for Misti had simply never seriously considered modeling before, and now, whoosh, she had become one. So Mandi decided to go out and visit her sister. Her fmaily and friends gently kidded her that her eighteenth birthday was, after all, next week, and that Cadre Modeling might snatch her up as well, but she just laughed and promised that she'd be back in plenty of time for her own modest little birthday party. And so it was that Mandragon Maloof went of to meet up again with her sister Mistral.
