It had been Sharon’s little sister Alice who had done most of the work on the chemical sprays.
Ah, Alice Carroll McCormack - usually just known as Alice Carroll - the young genius; she was thirteen years old and had been thirteen on and off for many years - ever since she discovered the secret of age-change chemistry. Some evenings she like d to be an adult and some days she was happiest as a five-year-old, but mostly she stuck at thirteen.
Without Alice Carroll’s knowledge of the fusion of particle physics with organic chemistry, Jim was a bit confused by all the sprays and potions. There was nothing back home to bring Sharon back to full size, but the effect would wear off - or so Alice had said. Sharon would probably still be angry with him, though.
Jim thought of a plan to make things right. First he collected some tiny containers and egg-cups and filled them with food and drink, and put them in through the door of the little house. Then he took his clothes off and sprayed himself with the miniaturisation spray. If Sharon was to be doll-sized for a while, he would be too.
The spray had its effect. Jim began to shrink, and as he shrank he fell unconscious.
When he woke, he was a twelve inch tall Barbie look-alike, being clumsily dressed by a full-sized Alice Carroll. “What -” Jim began. His voice - it was so high, so cute. He tried to wriggle free, then he looked helplessly at his perfect pink feminine body and gave up the struggle.
“I can’t believe you fell for it!” Alice laughed, as she pulled a pink party dress onto Jim’s slender little Barbie body. “You’re my toy now!”
