With the shock of realising that she actually was doll-size, Sharon knew that when she had said that she wished that it was real she hadn't really meant it.
Meanwhile Jim was complying with Sharon's demand that he tell her what was happening. "What's the last thing that you remember?"
"Coming over faint."
"Well you passed out and then began to shrink. I'm afraid that the perfume that I gave you must be to blame. When you shrank down to doll size, I didn't know what to do, so I put you in the old doll's house that you keep in your bedroom."
"I was keeping it to give to my daughter one day, assuming that I ever had one. Which doesn't seem very likely at the moment. You'd better be able to undo this, Jim. I know I said that I wished that it was real, but I didn't really mean it. I guess it was post-coital bliss. Talking of which, everything is really sticky in here, including me and the doll's clothes that I'm wearing."
