Unfortunately the air-conditioning in Sharon's car wasn't working. It was a hot and humid summer's day, and even with the windows wide open she quickly started to feel unpleasantly warm in the thick sweater. Beads of sweat were soon running down her face, and her clothes were starting to stick to her body. She clearly couldn't take the sweater off, but at this rate she would soon be at risk of dehydration or heatstroke. She berated herself for not having thought to bring along anything to drink.
Fortunately before long she saw a convenience store by the side of the road. She pulled over and went inside to buy herself a large can of something refreshingly cold.
