"Enjoy the time you still have girls, and forgive me because I'm not sure I'll see you the day I stomp over you!" she said with an amused smile, before she landed a kiss on Callie's lips "Sorry tiny Callie, I have bigger ambitions than you did! But that was fun anyway!"
And with it, she turned her back at the girls, and left.
The trucks coming to pick up the girls, huge things usually made to transport enormous piece of architecture for construction, arrived soon after, along with Mr Brown from the government. The man looked up at them.
"Good. I believe from the looks on your faces you're not in an angry disposition. Which means you accepted our offer. Girls, all of you will be transported to a different city, where you'll start having "Giantess 101" classes to teach you how to live without... wait, why are you looking so shocked? And where's the 10th girl?"
"She's gone" said Kim in a sigh.
"Gone? What do you mean?"
"We're done growing sir" Kim said, confessing it all "But she's not. And you were right. Everyone else was right and we didn't notice because she was one of us, but she's dangerous."
"Don't worry, we expected her to show some rebellion. We'll catch her in no time." Mr Brown said.
"No... she's still growing." Kim said.
"But you just..."
"I know. We're done. But her? Her growth didn't stop. And worse : it turned... much, much faster."
The man seemed as shocked as they were, as he realized what it implied. And he didn't know the whole truth. What Lena really wished for : to become the end of times.
"I'll call for units to search and capture her." he said, grabbing his phone.
From this very moment, Kim heard from Lena mostly through the news and the army officers with her, while she was brought in another city on the west coast to become her new home. All the girls would be spread over the country. But Lena?
Kim saw footage on TV, of a giantess walking in fields, crushing crops and making herds flee. From what Kim could see, and these footage were from today, Lena was above 50 feet tall now. Maybe she was even 55. Such an increase in height within a few hours... it meant that now, Lena was growing as much in one day as the girls used to grow in one month. So if she grew like this for one month... it would end up with her be as big as she had grown three years of her previous growth. And if just one year brought her from under 6 feet to 45 feet... Kim could barely imagine the results.
"The giantess, answering to the name of Lena, is changing route often" explained a journalist on TV, showing a giant footprint in the ground behind her "It seems she's trying to evade the towns and large roads, so whenever she's spotted, by the time the army arrive, she's already gone. If you spot Lena, please do not try to intervene or do any contact with her. Just contact the authorities and confirm the direction she was taking when you last saw her."
The problem was : the bigger she was growing, the faster she was moving. And even when an army plane spotted her, the giantess would walk so fast and without following roads that she was still hard to catch. And when a chopper spotted her, she'd start jogging, resulting in her reaching around 95 miles per hour, so even a chopper had trouble following her for too long.
The searches stopped when the night fell. Last news were of a 55+ feet tall Lena walking East.
In the morning, Kim learned by the army, trying to get from her any intel that could help find Lena, that Lena obviously didn't sleep much, and barely ate. They had found the ruins of her clothes in a crushed crop in the morning. And footprints... going South. Where the hell was she going?
Kim was stuck behind the huge screen she had in the old hangar they had turned into a home for her in her new city. The chase for Lena was on all channels. Where was the giantess? And even the journalists now all confirmed Lena was growing. Fast.
By 11AM, a 60 feet tall Lena had been spotted, washing her face in a river, before she noticed the tiny man filming her behind. The video ended up with a scream as the man saw a huge hand coming for him, and stopped there. According to the journalist, there was no trace of the man who had done the video. Kim gulped. She hoped Lena didn't... kill him? This very idea was worrying her.
Army jets spotted her later, now walking over hills, and sometimes, crossing a small village, walk through the main street with a smile, and then vanish. before she was spotted again. Army prepared an ambush with tanks and helicopters in a small town, but the giantess never showed up. She changed route before, and journalists were starting to ask the army how a now 65 feet tall girl could escape them. The problem wasn't spotting her : it was keeping her in sight long enough to organize something.
"Ants easily spot a human" explained a general on TV "And yet, they'd need days to gather enough resources to stop just one."
"Are you telling us we're ants to her?" asked a journalist.
"Yes. Yes, I think this is how she perceive us." the general said.
Kim, deep inside her, knew she was right. Lena barely cared about any of them now.
And then, it happened : bad weather. Rain. Fog. The army couldn't send its planes anymore, and was asking for new weather projections every hour. The satellites were blind on the region. Without any other possibilities, within the next day, the army offered the 45 feet tall cheerleaders to stop Lena. If they helped, they'd bring them all together once again, in a city specially made for the giantesses they were. After all, they had 9 giantesses to catch a slightly bigger one. They could do it.
Two more days of bad weather, and vague news of Lena from various witnesses allowed the army to learn some things : first, Lena was sleeping and eating less and less... the opposite of what they expected. Was she changing in other ways than just growing? And they also learned Lena was going south. Even when she changed direction, she never went north. Meaning... she was aiming for the Mexican frontier. But this was quite a large place. But with the help of witnesses who heard booming footsteps, they managed to estimate where she'd pass the frontier. Kim and her friends were gathered in a single place, dressed with giant military fatigues, helicopter and tanks supporting them.
It was a rainy day, and the girls were waiting next to the frontier post, when they heard it : boom... Boom... BOOM...
Footsteps. Huge ones. Even to them. The girls stood silently, checking around, and then, saw something through the rain. Legs. Giant legs. Walking right to them.
"Oh my god, LENA!" Kim exclaimed.
The legs stopped a few hundred feet before her, and then, Lena appeared in all her naked glory. The girls were in awe. They had to look up... and up... and up... until they saw Lena's giant face, smiling down at them from what had to be 110 feet tall.
"LENA?!" they all exclaimed.
"Why, do you know any other girl my size? I see you teamed up with the army, weaklings. I was right to grow alone, you're not worth it" Lena said "Now, do you really expect to stop me? As a reminder of our past friendship, I'll just ignore you." she giggled, and walked right for them.
The girls all ran to try to attack her, but hey, they were eye-level with Lena's knees. And before they could grab one, she just... walked over them, ignoring them like tiny animals on her way. "FIRE!" shouted the soldiers around, and a storm of bullets of all calibers, shells and rockets flew... only to crash on Lena's body, not leaving a single bruise. Kim gulped. She was... turning into the apocalypse, unstoppable! Mark made her the end of times? She couldn't be stopped, since he granted her this, so she'd win in the end.
They looked at Lena walking away, simply straddling over the frontier post, before she vanished, hidden by the rain...
