Doing almost anything after midnight was a bad idea without proper preparation as the lack of rest it took to get to that time meant a person might as well be drunk given how much they would be impaired mentally and physically. Phil West was willing to take that chance as his life was generally unlucky enough that he needed all the help he could get. Which was why he was searching online for anything to help him later that day with the job interview he had.

After a minute of processing Phil clicked on the Instant Delivery button, paid, and entered his address with a goofy but satisfied smile of having made a great purchase. Thinking the remote was the answers to any future problems he might have Phil went to bed and that hopefully Instant Delivery meant same day delivery. Snoring he missed the sharp knock on his apartment door and soft thud as the packaged remote was placed at the bottom of his door.
