If Saten were to be asked what she wanted from life, she would probably have a hard time answering. A young girl like her, she hadn't really thought about long-term plans or life-goals or any such complicated things. Of course there were things she wanted to do. Normal things like getting a boyfriend, an awesome job she would love or buying a cool car.
But there was another part of her, one that deeply wanted to become special. The part of her that wanted to get her own Esper powers and no longer be stuck among the rank of Level 0.
She had been jealous of her friends in the past, especially Misaka and Kuroko, who were high level Espers, compared to her own nonexistent abilities. But with the events regarding Kiyama Harumi, she had learned that there were more important things and she had overcome that jealousy.
It didn't mean that she stopped to want her powers. Just that she wasn't going to go all crazy over it again. Even if she would never quite forget the glee she had felt when she had possessed real Esper powers for a short time.
So when she started to feel kind of strange while flipping Uiharu's skirt she didn't really think too much about it. Had the feeling not returned, she would have likely forgotten about the whole thing in short order.
But it had come otherwise.
With a curious face, Saten flipped her skirt up and down a few times, creating a light stream of air that hit her face and cooled her down. Nothing too special. While there are some that would scream at how shameless such an act was, to Saten this wasn't so important.
And well, there were no boys sitting in front of her so it was fine.

She had been doing this for most of the last hour... trying to listen to the teacher and concentrate was a pain. Outside a wind was blasting which made it not seem so hot, but in here was nothing to help everyone from being boiled alive in their own juices.
Alright, maybe that was just a bit theatrical of Saten, but you know, sitting in a classroom that is burning hot while the teacher drones on about science that would make Hawking proud could make anyone feel bad.
Of course the teacher wouldn't open the windows...
Saten sighed, continuing to flip, or rather wave her skirt to get some relief. Although for the Level Upper that was one and the same.

The teenager frowned, concentrating on the feeling she had while she was flipping her skirt. It was strange, like nothing she had ever experienced. As if some higher power was holding onto her, guiding her in how to do this.
And that was the strange thing, as far as Saten could see, the only thing she was doing was flipping her skirt. It just somehow felt easier, like she just didn't have to actually put work into it...
Saten frowned, looking at a girl sitting in front of her who was doing her best job of hiding a manga behind a schoolbook while looking as studious as possible. She held out her hand while turning her head in all directions to make sure no one was looking at her. Then with a single motion...
The skirt of the girl flipped upwards just a moment after Saten had touched it, quite literally in fact. She hadn't actually flipped it with her hands! No, she had only touched a corner of it's fabric while thinking about what she wanted.
Then the cloth seemed to gain a will of its own and flipped in the exact way that Saten had wanted.
The girl wiggled a bit and turned her head around, maybe wondering if she had been noticed, but Saten was already sitting back again, with her mouth hanging open.
Saten Ruiko had wanted to be an Esper for years and now it looked like maybe her powers were showing up. It started as a smirk, then her face was covered by a huge smile and the girl had to do her best to not accidentally laugh out in the manner that was well known among mad scientists.
She had Esper powers, absolutely no idea what they were aside that they let her flip skirts in a way that wouldn't be normally possible, but honestly she didn't care.
She so had to show this to Uiharu!
