Unending BE - episode 756388

Ranma had seen some pretty sad sights in his, er her, life. But the sight of this group of guys, the same guys who had for the past couple weeks been repeatedly attacking the other, real, girl in front of them and perhaps longer than that. All to try and get a date from her.

Still, they were apparently sobbing and giving up on her. Given their “approval” to the engagement to her that their parents had set up. Really? Honestly Ranma didn’t know how anybody could be this clueless. Ranma figured that the first time she had beat them up that any date requests would be met with a “no.”

Plus come on, the engagement wasn’t their business anyways! It was her’s and Akane’s to sort out and there was no way they were going to go through with it! Even if she was cute and oddly nice even after taking back that offer of friendship. (Sometimes Ranma didn’t even know if she remembered doing that, not like it had been brought up.)

Really they were freaking sad, Akane was more worried about her buttoning up her shirt than them!

“So then…” That’s when a familiar, and kind of irritating voice “You have all heard this falsehood…”

Enter Tatewaki Kuno, wrapped up like a mummy. “...that Ranma Saotome defeated me! Upperclassman Kuno does not admit defeat!”

“Kuno was the greatest fighter at Furinkan High!” That was kind of sad, in Ranma’s opinion. Give Akane a week practicing with Pops and she’d be able to tie him in knots, let alone anything Ranma could do.

“Yeah! And the greatest pervert!” Another guy said. Ranma couldn’t disagree on front.

That was when Akane, a grin on her face, whispered “They don’t know a real pervert when they see one.” Followed by a giggle.

Ranma rolled her eyes, “I’ll let that one slide.” She muttered back.

“Kuno... “ He said, unwrapping his bandaged face, “...shall not give you up.” This revealed the imprints of Ranma’s foot from their fight yesterday, still quite visible on his face. “A hundred… two hundred kicks from a coward like Ranma do not even itch!”

Before Ranma could protest Kuno’s denial of reality, however…

“I dunno pal, those look like they hurt.”

Everyone, the idiots, Ranma, Akane, and the other students watching turned to the sound of the new voice.

“Who dares doubt my prowess!” Kunos shouted, pointing his bokken at the newcomer.

The new guy was fairly tall, around Kuno’s height. He wore the Furinkan’s boy school uniform and was definitely handsome by the judgement of the observing girls. Compared to Kuno’s aristocratic looks or (Boy) Ranma’s rough charm, this new guy was definitely the pretty boy type. Lean, with wiry muscles. His long blue hair (a slightly lighter shade than Akane’s) was tied back in a low ponytail.

Oh yeah, and strangely enough he had what looked like a giant spatula strapped to his back

“Name’s Ukyo Kuonji. Transferring here today.” He said.

“Well do not speak of such things you have no knowledge of Kuonji.” Kuno said.

Ukyo smirked, “I know plenty of things, like that somebody obviously kicked your ass.”

The boys at Furinkan gasped, Ranma rolled her eyes, and Akane looked a little worried, she got ready to step in if Kuno was too much for the new guy (Though considering the admittedly odd weapon he carried both she and Ranma figured he could handle himself most likely).

“You dare mock me!” As predicted, he moved towards Ukyo, arms raised in perfect form Kendo strike.

The blow didn’t land.

Ukyo had, from somewhere, pulled out a smaller spatula and lightly slapped Kuno in the chest. This caused him to collapse, whimpering in pain.

“Dumbass.” Ukyo said dryly, “Tryin’ to start a fight like that.”

Akane sighed, “Welcome to Furinkan High, I apologize for Upperclassman Kuno’s behavior.”

Ukyo laughed, “No problem lady. Went to an all boys school before this, used to things bein’ rowdy.”

Ranma frowned. Why did this guy look familiar? Something about him struck a nerve.

As Ukyo walked past the gates, his eyes glanced down at Ranma.

“Uh… hi? Ranma said,.

“Ranma Saotome, right?” Ukyo said quietly, so that only he and Ranma could hear.

Ranma’s jaw dropped, “N-no! My name’s ah… err…” But it was too late, Ukyo had already walked past the other guys and headed into school.

“Pigtailed girl!” By that point Kuno had regained awareness, and was rushing towards her. Without even looking Ranma kicked behind her to hit him in the face. A place she hadn’t hit their last fight.

Several weeks ago, in China…

There it was!

Ukyo let out a cheer of victory. She had finally found the training ground that the two thieves had ran to. Jusenkyo!

All these years, dealing with the shame, the mockery from those smug little bitches. Ukyo would have her revenge! After so much training, cooking okonomiyaki by the sea and getting ready, she was sure that vengeance was hers!

She had been ready, had finally tracked down the Saotomes when she learned they weren’t home! Not only that but the landlord said that Genma Saotome had dropped the lease, they were moving somewhere else!

Ukyo had nearly given up when she had noticed a guy her age wearing a bandanna crying in an empty lot across the street from the formal Saotome residence.

Leaning that they had gone to China, and by extension to this supposed legendary training ground, reignited hope.

Wouldn’t that be perfect? Humiliating Ranma on a training trip, just like the one they had first met all those years ago. So off to China she went, finding her way to Jusenkyo.

“Now… have they arrived yet?” Ukyo asked quietly, glancing over at the countless misty springs, bamboo poles jutting out of them. She walked down the path ot the springs.

There was something eerily quiet about the training ground. But then again maybe that was part of the perks? She had been to temples for bits of training and they had been this quiet. Good for meditation.

Still, Ukyo frowned. She had a little bit of spiritual sensitivity and something felt off about these springs. A feeling distinctly unlike the temples she had visited. She leaned over one of the springs, and it almost felt like something was pulling her…

“Ah! Mr. Customer! Very bad if fall in spring!” A loud voice said in accented Chinese. This was, in hindsight to the one shouting, a bad idea.

Because it startled Ukyo, and when Ukyo jumped a short distance… her landing made her slip on the wet grass. Which, of course, only made the pulling sensation Ukyo felt suddenly become very real, as she fell with a loud splash into the icy cold spring.

“Gaahhhggg!” Ukyo spat out water upon surfacing. Her clothing was soaked, and it almost felt like she had shrunk.

“Oh… oh Customer very fortunate!” The heavyset man in a Mao uniform said.

“How the hell am I lucky for getting dunked like this?” Ukyo muttered, pulling herself out of the spring.

“Ah, all these springs have Very Tragic Stories Mr. Customer.” The man said, helping Ukyo out. “All who fall in spring cursed! Well, normally.”

“Huh?” Ukyo muttered. “Cursed? How the hell am I cursed.”

“That’s just the thing Mr. Customer!” The man laughed, “Mr. Customer fall in Spring of Drowned Man. Very Tragic Story about man who drown in Spring 1300 years ago. Whoever fall in Spring turn into man! But Mr. Customer already man, so Spring have no effect.”

“...man?” Ukyo asked quietly. Ukyo quickly unbuttoning her shirt.

The sarashi she used to bind her breasts had been torn apart. This was because her chest was now broader. While, at the same time, her chest was noticeably flatter.

Ukyo’s eyes rolled into the back of his head, and he fainted.

Back at Furinkan, Ukyo finished putting on his gym uniform.

It was weird being able to dress up with the guys without any worry of being discovered.

Ranma had, of course, gone back out. He had yet to speak to Ukyo after their introduction before homeroom.

As Ukyo had expected, he had been put in the same class with Ranma and that girl who “she” had been with this morning.

Still, not a single bit of hint that he remembered his old friend Ucchan. Still, Ukyo could wait.

Learning that Ranma had fallen into the Spring of Drowned Girl, that his masculinity had been stolen from him like he had stolen Ukyo femininity. It made him wonder if Revenge was worth it, for now.

So, he was going to observe. Try and get into Ranma’s social circle, whatever it might be. If it came out that Ranma needed a dose of vengeance, well, Ukyo’d be right there.

A smirk formed on his face as he marched out to gym. The girls were playing baseball, while the guys were doing gymnastics.

WHAP!

Ukyo raised an eyebrow as he approached Ranma. “Oy, Saotome. Why’d you let that baseball hit you?”

“Oh it’s you.” Ranma grumbled, “Shut up.”
