After creating a rather large mess at DWMA Maka manages to leave the academy and slip into Death city. Although completely insane from the black blood Maka is still smart enough to hide herself.

Meanwhile in Lord Death's room Soul, Death the Kidd, Black Star, Tsubaki, Liz and Patty as well as the death scythes Spirit, Marie, Justin and Stein have gathered at Lord Death's summons.
"Now we must send a team after Maka so we can figure out why this has happened and to ensure the safety of one of our own so who would like to go?" Lord death asks them.
Stein with Marie step forward as well as Liz, Patty, Kidd, Black Star and Tsubaki. "We'll be going to save Maka." Stein says to Death.
Death nods and the group heads out.

Maka after leaving Death city has found a tree and promptly falls asleep under it. Inside of Maka's mind-scape what was once a beautiful Victorian style bedroom combined with a library. But now because of the black blood the room has become twisted and dark.
Across the room in the only untouched part of the room is a white throne like chair in the chair is Maka the real and sane Maka. She is chained to the chair in such a way that she can't move.
Sane Maka looks as the door opens a person enters and S.Maka notices a completely pale white version of herself enters the room. The white version walks around the room with a ch1ld like curiosity and wonder.
"Ooo pretty room I like it." Crazy Maka starts giggling insanely. C.Maka walks over to her chained up sane counterpart. "Yay this room has everything even a pretty dolly." She says overjoyed.
"Hey I'm not a doll." S.Maka says angrily. She gets slapped across the face by C.Maka.
"Bad dolly I didn't pull your string so no talking now to make you pretty." C.Maka says to her. She then finds various items such as combs, curling irons, and make up.
C.Maka then wakes up from her time of making her dolly pretty. On reflex she triggers her weapon ability and decides to head out.
