This chapter is a bit confusing. THe scenes with the dojo, is that her mind snapping as she is trying to think of anything but Nabiki or is it something else?
I don't really buy that Ranma would leave Akane behind in such a bizarre situation. So that sort of kills the rest of it for me. It was well written though.
I suppose there's some irony in the fact that the one time Ranma figures Akane will be fine on her own is when she's completely screwed...in more ways than one, of course. But yeah, still don't believe it.
I was going for Akane being so shocked by what was happening to her that she went into a "happy place".
On reflection, yeah Ranma probably would've grabbed Akane before leaving. I don't think either of them were particularly thinking too clearly after what they'd just seen, though.
