It was the strangest thing, but her vision blurred there for just a moment. Ami was lying down on her bed already, but she was struck by a sudden dizzy spell the likes of which she'd never felt before. It soon passed, but she still sat up and rubbed at her temple, having to brush aside a stray blonde hair that got in her eye.
Waitaminute. Blonde? Ami rolled out of bed, panic rising deep within her. Her legs were a little unsteady, but she kept her balance and managed to skip over to the nearest mirror and gawped at the face gawping back at her.
She looked exactly the same in every way. Same face. Same hairstyle. Same clothes. Same body. Everything was the same. Oh, except that her hair had somehow shifted rather drastically along the visible spectrum!
Weird thing was, it looked kind of... Cute on her? She looked at it from several different angles, and it was just so strange. Blonde hair suited her down to the ground. It looked so much nicer than blue ever did.

Relieved by that revelation, Ami fell back onto her bed and stared up at the ceiling. All the rock had done was change the colour of her hair. She could relax a little now. Maybe she could wish for some other things if she found the rock? Like a new wardrobe. Looking at the clothes she was wearing, guh! Didn't suit her new look at all! Maybe wish for a boyfriend... Or maybe even wish for something that the others might like! Ami giggled at the thought. They'd be so surprised when she, um, what was she doing again? Oh right, of course! That wishing rock!
Ami hadn't quite realised it yet, but there was more than one kind of bimbo in the world. She was still as smart as she ever was, but concentrating that brilliant intellect on a single thing for more than thirty seconds was a virtual impossibility.
