In the game of Duel Monsters, decks themes come and go as time goes on, always changing for the latest and greatest decks the game has to offer. One such deck lost to bottom of the discount bin was the Toon Cards.
The Toons had been the lovable creation of Maximillion Pegasus but, beyond their creator, no one had ever been able to fully figure out how best to utilize them to there full potential and thus were quickly discarded as players moved on. Beyond for himself, Pegasus discontinued to make the line and the memory of the cards soon faded from duelist memories...
"Awww, its SOOO boring in here!" Came a cute little voice from the bin of Duel Monster cards. The pile glowed for a moment before, with a pop, the cards exploded upward, revealing a cute chibified version of Dark Magician Girl. No, this was infact the Toon Dark Magician Girl, the toonified version of the same monster. Compared to her counter part, she looked like a little girl with long, thin body but big eyes and head. More so, in comparison to the real world's normal colors, she contrasted with her bright colors and unnatural appearance, like a cartoon that stepped out from the TV.
The Toon DM Girl smacked her head several times, cards pouring comically from her ear before she shook her head. "Hmmm! Feels good to stretch out!" She said, giggling as she looked around the store she'd appeared in. It was after hours so it was night time, dark and no one around save for herself, who in contrast looked like she was in full sunlight.
Toon DM Girl looked over the shelves of Duel Monster cards, noting many cards she'd never seen before. She pouted, though, when she noted not a single Toon card. "This is no fun. Everyone's forgotten us!" She said. Then, with an adorable, mischievous smile, a light bulb appeared above her head. "I know! I should show people the fun of being a toon! If I make more toons, not only will those new toons know the joy but then they can show regular people how fun we can be and then they'd have to ask for more toon cards to be made!" She said as she grabbed the light bulb and used it as a flash light to find the exit.
Toon DM Girl's head popped out threw the keyhole before pulling the rest of herself out before flying into the night sky. She had a mission to do! The first thing to do though was find someone: someone unhappy and grumpy and show them the wonderful life of a toon! But where to start?
"How about down their!" She yelled as she descended into...
