Ranmasexual: Akane's First Lust

As she ran through the streets on her morning ritual, Akane's mind absently drifted towards her life and the direction it was taking. She was the heir to her family's dojo and martial arts style, the Tendo School of Anything Goes Martial Arts. She trained regularly, throwing her all into the arts daily. She loved it, breathed it, lived it. Her morning jog was an extension of that, in a manner. It was her warmup. When she got home, she'd toss her gi on and run through a few basic routines. Same thing she did every day, religiously, without thought. On automatic. It was just another part, a small and tiny step on her training regiment, but no step was insignificant no matter how small it may well be.

If not for school she could have so much more done, and be that much better than she already was. The thought lingered in the back of her mind, but it really wasn't all that fair to linger on. She'd made friends at school, and it wouldn't be right to go without a decent education. In truth the only real reason she regretted school was what she had to face whenever she went there. The immature, perverted little brats that thought that she would date them if they could beat her in a straight fight. Only one of them ever stood a chance. Only one of them could even touch her skill level. The rest of them all hung back and attacked en masse, and were dropped a minute later. Then she'd fight Tatewaki Kuno. She knew he was better than her in a straight fight, but he always held back out of some well ingrained sense of sexism which outright contradicted his statement that anyone who could defeat her could date her.

But it didn't even end with Tatewaki Kuno. No, the other girls at school were such insatiable gossips. "When are you going to get yourself a boyfriend, Akane?" "Maybe if you got a boyfriend they'd leave you alone!" or even "Last weekend my boyfriend did this romantic thing or that romantic thing and he's just soooo sweet!" and then they'd go on and on about it until she'd swear her ears were bleeding! Guh! Why did her school life suddenly resolve around boyfriends or more to the point the lack therof? Didn't any of them get the point that she didn't want a boyfriend? She'd date whoever she damn well pleased! Which right now happened to be... exactly nobody. Akane Tendo just wasn't interested in boys. Or girls either for that matter. Romance and all that garbage simply didn't interest her. She had the art. She had her training. She had her responsibilities. That was enough.

"I'm home!" she yelled as she entered the front gate. She was upstairs in a moment's notice, and a half minute later was back downstairs in the garden having changed from jogging gear to gi. This was her life, her real life. This was what mattered most to her. Not the immature pig headed boys at school, but the simple joy of training. Pushing herself to the limits of what she could do, and then giving that extra nudge further so that tomorrow and the day she could make the nudge into a full fledged shove. A third brick was stacked into place on top of the others, and with the concentration that came all too naturally to her she slammed her fist clear through all of them. Obviously she needed to add a fourth tomorrow, because that was simply far too easy.

"There you go again Akane," quipped Nabiki. "It's a wonder the boys are interested in you, when you're like this."

"Not everyone thinks the world revolves around boys, Nabiki!" Akane rolled her eyes. Even home wasn't safe from being pressured to go out on dates. Didn't they get it? She just wasn't interested in that sort of stuff! So far as she could tell, the only thing that boys really wanted was to do perverted things to her, and while she was broadly okay with other people doing that sort of thing... No thanks! Not buying it, please take your business elsewhere. She didn't care, and every single time that the subject was brought up she cared about it even less.

"Oh? Well, I guess you won't much care about this, then. Will you?" Nabiki replied, staring absently at the sky in a manner meant to deliberately bait Akane into asking what she was talking about.

"What are you talking about now?" Akane asked. Well, the best bait is always the one you can't resist even knowing it to be bait.

"Apparently daddy got all excited about something he got in the letter today. He's been on cloud nine, running around the house wanting to talk to us," Nabiki shrugged. "And before you ask, all I know about is that he said something about expecting someone to arrive later on called Ranma."

Ranma. The word was like a stone tossed into a lake, leaving an almighty splash in her ears. Ranma. It struck deep into her mind, almost sounding louder than the other words that Nabiki had said. Ranma. She'd heard the name before, but for some reason this occurence felt more significant somehow. Ranma. No, not just significant. Essential. The stone settled into the lake and became part of it. Ranma. Part of her. But it didn't end there, with the splash and the settling. There were ripples as well. The first she noticed was that everything else seemed to be moving in slow motion, as if her awareness had been heightened but the rest of her being hadn't quite caught up yet. Akane felt suddenly and acutely aware of the sound of her own heart beating, no, make that pounding in her chest like it was trying to burst out. Then something else caught her attention. The air today had been a little bit damp, a little bit cold, sort of like feeling one gets when the rain is about to pour down... but now, Akane felt uncomfortably warm. Then the worst possible feeling struck, something she couldn't even begin to explain. A strange weakness in her limbs, like she was ready to collapse at any moment. For someone like her that trained at every opportunity to hone these muscles, to build upon her strength through hard work and determination should have been anathema. The very antithesis of her being! And yet there was a pleasantness to it. Something mysterious and welcoming that reassured her that she had not lost any strength at all and that what she saw as weakness now would become her greatest and most terrible strength.

"Are you feeling okay?"

Without any warning she was back to herself. Nabiki was staring at her, head tilted and eyes betraying the concern that she might not otherwise show.

"I'm fine!" she snapped back, but Akane knew she wasn't. What the hell had that been? "I think we should see what this whole business is about, and who this Ranma -" she stopped momentarily mid sentence and sighed before lamely finishing with "is supposed to be."

Nabiki was glaring a hole in the back of her head with that intrigued look. She could feel it. Not nearly as much as she could feel Ra-that name burning in her head. It was like someone had taken a branding iron to her mind and she didn't particularly care for the way it was making her feel whenever she heard it. Alright. Just take a few deep breaths, concentrate, and it should be easy to resist whatever this was that had an iron grip on the pleasure centre of her brain. Right? Easy. Simple. Control.

Maybe if she was lucky, her father could maybe shed a little light on this.

"Fiance?" the three of them gasped as one. This was the first any of them had heard about the matter, and Akane could hear her heart pounding away in her chest again... Then again, it may have just been the rain outside clattering on the rooftops given how the weather had taken a sharp turn for the worse. She honestly couldn't tell the difference at this point, because whatever was happening had phased her just that much.

"Ranma Saotome is the son of a very good friend of mine. If one of you three girls were to marry him and carry on this training centre, then the Tendo family legacy would be secure."

"W-wait a minute here!" Akane blurted out. "D-don't we get to have some say in who we - who we marry?"

She'd yelled that just to try and get her mind working on something else. Anything else! It didn't much matter what at this point. Her own body was betraying her, sending the strangest, newest and kind of exciting sensations from the tip of her toes all the way to the top of her head. Akane was trying not to fidget, she really was, but couldn't quite help herself no matter what she did.

Fortunately for her self control, Kasumi chose that point to raise her own opinions of the matter. "Akane's right, daddy. We've never even met Ranma."

That name again! Dammit, she would not let this beat her! No matter how good it feels, she refused to be beaten by a - by a name of all things!

"Ah, but that's easily fixed!" her father stated. "They should be arriving within a few days, if not today! It seems that my friend and his son were most recently travelling in China."

"Hmph! That doesn't say much," Akane said. "I mean, what kind of guy is he anyway?"

"It's funny you should ask that, because I have absolutely no idea. Never met him."

And suddenly, Soun Tendo found himself on the receiving end of a completely disbelieving and unblinking stare from all three of his daughters. Fortunately for him it didn't last particularly long, as there was a sudden ruckus at the door that got all four of them heading in that direction, with Akane trailing behind last on legs that were far more wobbly than she wanted them to be. It wasn't that she wanted to see this mystery boy with the name that made her feel weird, in fact she sort of wanted to get away from him at top speed, but it wasn't as if that was much of an option now was it? She had to be strong, of will body and mind. What other choice was there for her? She was a martial artist! If she had a weakness, she must strive to overcome it! She had to be ready, and ready for anything!

One can never quite prepare for the sight of a large slightly irate and damp panda entering the front door of one's home. Akane instinctively moved to protect her family, momentarily forgetting the odd feelings she'd been having these last ten minutes as she effortlessly and couragously adopted a fighting position that ought to be suicidal by its very nature. Alas the repreive was fleeting as the panda came to a complete stop and deposited the figure it had been carrying directly in front of the family and the only thought going through Akane's mind was something along the lines of "oh my god can I keep her?"

For the panda had been carrying a girl that was slightly smaller than Akane. Her hair was worn in an adorable little pigtail, and the rain was giving her hair this slightly mussed up look that suited her far too well. Anyone could guess she'd been in China recently given those clothes. A short sleeved silk shirt and baggy black trousers that looked like they were made for a bigger frame than hers yet didn't hide from Akane the very distinctively feminine curves that lay beneath. Those were definitely breasts under that damp shirt and by god she wasn't wearing a bra under it. Even her body language radiated cuteness for miles. So shy, so reserved! Akane ached to reassure her that they didn't mean her any harm and she was safe from the big, mean panda that obviously kidnapped her.

"You wouldn't be..." her father said, interrupting her thoughts.

"I'm Ranma Saotome," the girl said, but that couldn't possibly be right. "Sorry about this!"

Her idiot father was ecstatic about that particular introduction, even going to the extent of hugging Ranma and giving her a hearty welcome, until he noticed the breasts. Seriously, how could he not notice? They were right there, and she wasn't wearing a bra! Wait... Wait... Akane suddenly came back to herself. What was she thinking of, ogling this girl like some pervert? She was supposed to be resisting this mental effect! Ugh! She felt so dirty all of a sudden, and -

And she was sooooo jealous of Nabiki just walking right up and poking Ranma's breast like that. So jealous.

"He is a girl," Nabiki declared in that deadpan way she did so well. And then their father fainted, babbling incoherently as he went.

"Genma told me he had a son!" Soun yelled from his position on the floor.

"Does this look like a son to you?" Nabiki yelled back, grabbing one of Ranma's breasts for emphasis.

"... Could you please not do that?" Ranma asked, blushing slightly.

Akane had to concur, but a large part of that thought was because she'd rather be the one doing the groping, thank you very much. Ugh! Stop that! So filthy, so dirty, so very naughty.. No! Not like that either! No you don't! Akane wasn't that easy, and whatever was happening to her would have to -

Aw, but look at her! She was so lost, so alone in a house full of teary eyed fathers and gropers. Not to mention the panda that dragged her here. There wasn't much else for it, but for Akane to lean over towards Ranma and smile as sincerely as she could manage even as she tried to stave off these funny feelings she was having, and say to their houseguest "Hi, my name's Akane. Want to be friends?" What surprised her was how hard it had been to prevent herself from adding the two words "with benefits" to the end of that introduction.

Off they went to the training hall. Alone. With these weird thoughts and feeling bubbling away under her skin. This may not have been the best of ideas after all, but getting Ranma alone was the best chance for a little interrogation.

"I didn't even know about this engagement deal until today just before you arrived," Akane began. "How about you?"

"Oh the way here," Ranma replied. "The panda had to knock me out and drag me here, because I had other things to take care of."

"What is the deal with that panda? It seems pretty intelligent."

"No, no, he's dumber than you think he is. Way dumber. It may look like intelligence, but it's really not. He's a dumb, stupid panda."

Their spar began, with Ranma adopting an extremely loose fighting stance that Akane barely even recognised for what it was. Ranma was openly inviting any form of attack in an effort to make the opponent drop their guard, so that she could deliver a counter attack. Very loose, very flexible, very risky if the user didn't have the capacity to dodge effectively. And so, Akane adjusted her strategies accordingly. She threw out a few punches to test out Ranma's dodging ability, and wasn't too surprised when she weaved around the attacks. What did surprise her was how easy and how alluring she made it look, though that second might have been this thing affecting her mind.

One thing was definitely true, regardless of whatever else she may be thinking. Ranma was a way better martial artist than she was. That didn't mean she was giving up. Hell no! This was just what she was looking for! Something to test her, something to drive her, something to push her to higher heights. If she just gave up because her opponent was able to easily read her every move, then how would she ever improve? She continued with kicks and punches, pushing herself to make each attempted strke a little bit faster than the last. Ranma responded with much the same. Had this been a real fight, had Ranma been taking her on seriously then she could literally end this any time she wanted.

All right then, she thought. If she was going to lose, then lose on a big note! Time to take this seriously. She focused all of her determination into one punch and threw it wildly. As she expected, Ranma leaped into the air, but she had already half turned to meet her by the time she'd landed, finger extended, reaching for the back of Akane's head. Instead, her hand grabbed Ranma's and she whispered the word "gotcha" as she tried to pull Ranma into a grappling stance. Her fighting style was so dependant on dodging and agility, that in a close up confrontation there had to be one clear winner.

A second later she realised she was right, and that the clear winnner was not who she thought it would be. Akane was on her back, with Ranma pinning both her shoulders to the mat. "No," Ranma said, and Akane realised she would die for that smile. "Got you!"

Ranma was straddling her waist for only a moment, long enough to assert who had won their spar and yet it had felt like forever. In spite of herself Akane wanted to feel more of it. More touching, more contact and more something else that she couldn't identify right away. No. That was a lie. She knew exactly what it was she wanted.

"You're pretty good," Ranma said, stretching out her arms and absently pressing out her chest like she had absolutely no sense of feminine modesty. Akane felt her nose start to bleed. "Oh, hey! Sorry, did I clock you by accident? Don't remember hitting your face or anything..."

"Um, you didn't." Akane wiped her nose clean. "And if I'm pretty good, then you're incredible! I've been looking for a decent sparring partner for ages! I'm just glad you're a girl. I'd hate to lose to a boy."

The look on Ranma's felt painful to look at. Was that hurt or embarassment about something? Well, either way Akane ran out of the dojo and went straight to her room, breathing like she'd run for miles. There wasn't much question of it now. For the first time in her life, Akane found someone sexually attractive. And that person happened to be a girl. So... was she gay? Was she a lesbian? Not that she had anything against the idea, but it did rather surprise her to learn that she might be. Hm. No. No, that couldn't be right at all. She'd been attracted to the name before even meeting her. If anything her presence had intensified the feeling, made it that much harder to resist... But that much could easily be acreddited to the simple fact that Ranma was a slamming hottie. She needed time to think about this. Time to digest what she had learned about herself today. Okay. So she found Ranma attractive. Almost to the point that she very nearly tried jumping the girl downstairs just now. This would have failed to get very far because Ranma could probably win a strength contest between them in her sleep, but she would have made the attempt anyway. It wasn't all that hard to imagine herself being *with* Ranma in some capacity either. The two of them naked in the bath together, scrubbing one another's back... then one of them gets a little too friendly with the scrubbing, but the other doesn't mind so much and they explore each other's boundaries just to see what they find comfortable and where the line actually is...

"Akane, that's the bath ready!"

"C-Coming, Nabiki!"

And she very nearly had been. She'd been about ready to tear her clothes off and get a little self exploration done! She really needed that bath, too. Maybe a bit of a soak would clear her head? Akane entered the bathroom, fully intending to try and forget all about Ranma Saotome and how she felt about her. Then she noticed a particular Chinese shirt and trousers. Ranma was in the bath. Naked. Dripping wet from head to toe. Akane almost dashed for the door, stopping herself just short of opening it. You're just going to bathe together, she insisted to herself. There will be nothing inappropriate between the two of you. Even if she starts it, but then again she's a skilled enough martial artis that if she does start something I'd be as well giving in and enjoying it, so - No! No! Bad thoughts! Bad! Just... get in there and stop your imagination from running away with a completely naked man in the bath looking right at me.

Not what she was expecting. Not even remotely what she was expecting. To summarise what she had been expecting, there ought to have been a cute pigtailed girl just a litlte bit shorter than her sitting somewhere in there. Instead there was a cute pigtailed boy just a little bit taller than her and - and that was a penis. That was an honest to god cock, just, right there. Like it was staring at her as well. The really strange thing was, Akane wasn't even sure what she'd have preferred. Naked pigtailed girl or naked pigtailed boy. Both had their positives, and that strong feeling from before was back with a vegence now except directed towards this mystery boy that looked like he could bench press a car and then run a marathon. Somehow, for the second time in her life Akane had found someone that she found sexually attractive and the two of them were just standing there in the bathroom completely butt naked. Could anyone blame her for just standing there and staring for a few minutes before doing something about it?

  1. *Akane runs out of the bathroom to get a bit more self control.
  2. Akane makes a clumsy attempt at seduction. She's not used to feeling this way!
  3. Ranma gets a little modesty and covers himself, shoving Akane out of the room so he can get some clothes on.
  4. The two of them stare at one another until someone goes into the bathroom and interrupts.
  5. Something else
