Peggy Sue: Neon Genesis Evangelion

Could anyone possibly be surprised that this cornerstone anime series has probably the highest Peggy Sue ratio in anime fanfiction? I mean, anyone that doesn't think that probably hasn't seen it.

The question that must be asked now is the means by which a character has been sent back in time. There are certainly no shortage of them... nor characters that could maybe go back in time.

1. *Mysterious apple that grants whoever bites into it visions of the future
2. Two characters go back in time... and switch bodies!
3. *Ghosts of the future plague a character.
4. A character acquires a device that lets them create save points that they can reset to whenever they want.
5. A character acquires a dvd boxset of the series, and a dvd player to watch it on.
6. *A whole other set of plots.
